As part of their learning in Religious Education, we visited Abu Bakr Mosque in Middlesbrough. We learned more about the Five Pillars of Islam, how and why Muslims pray five times daily and were also able to explore and ask questions about the features of the Mosque that we had learned about at school. When we returned to school, we talked about what we had seen and began to compare the Mosque with a Church as a place for worship.
